In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
MacDONALD, John (Scott) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 1, 2021. Born in Scotland, Scotty moved to Canada at a young age and became a member of the Canadian Navy. He passed on his love of soccer to his children and will be fondly remembered as Coach to all who played for him. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Anderson, his children Jason MacDonald, Jill MacDonald, and Travis Anderson. He was a beloved Grumpy Grandpa to Brianna Henry, Logan Anderson, and Ilyanna Anderson. He brought joy and laughter to all he met and will be deeply missed. At Scotty's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. (Toronto Star 06 Feb 2021)
