MILLER, Barry A. - It is with a heavy heart the family wish to announce the passing of Barry A. Miller on Jan 6 2021 in Port Alberni B.C. Dad was born in Saint John New Brunswick on Sept 20 1936. He served in the Canadian navy before founding and managing Gilmar Supply in Thunder Bay Ont. He is survived by his wife Grace, brother Bill as well as his children Douglas, Barry, Bruce, Kelly, Flossie, Susie Carrie, Joey and many grandkids and great grandchildren. Barry was a mentor to all including his decades of involvement with the AA community. A meditation guide, a singer and player of many songs, all were touched in some way after meeting him. His passing will be felt by all. He would not want anyone to mourn but instead to celebrate a life he lived to the fullest. (Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal 06 Feb 2021)
