In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
DAVIS, Alan Stephen - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alan Davis, 67, on February 27, 2019. Alan was born in Liverpool, England and was quite proud of his British heritage. Alan had an adventurous spirit and heard the call of the sea at a young age. He spent seven years with the Royal Navy until he immigrated to Canada where he joined the Reserves. He loved to tinker on his boat or in his home workshop.
Alan leaves behind his wife Jackie, stepdaughter Candace Morrow, stepson Andrew Morrow and his father Thomas Davis of Nanaimo, B.C. He is predeceased by his mother Muriel Davis and sister Susan Cuthbert. He will be missed by his family and friends who will remember his passion for sailing and love of a good beer or a fine wine. A Memorial Service will take place on March 17th, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at the Nepean Sailing Club. A celebration of his life will follow.
