JAMES, Paul Thomas - WWII Veteran - Royal Canadian Navy; Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 488, Brechin Suddenly at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the age of 90. Paul James, of Orillia and formerly of Big Cedar Estates, beloved husband of the late Sheila Jessie James (nee Davidson) Special companion of Marj McCurrach. Loving father of David (Joanne) of Markham, Gary (Patricia) of Cobourg, Brian (Wendie) of Mississauga. Grandfather of Mathew (Beverley), Steven (Colleen), Mark (Ashley), Adam (Wynne), Erin (Stephen), Tracy (Patrick), Tara (Keith) and great-grandfather of 14. Brother of the late Marjorie Warner. Lovingly remembered by nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Paul James will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday morning, September 26th at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Andrew's- St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated. (The Toronto Star 24 Sep 2014)
