JENSON, Alma Lorraine (née DOUPE) - Born July 10, 1925 in Oshawa, Ont., to George and Florence (Bradbrook) Doupe. Joined the WRCNS from Moncton during the Second World War and served in Halifax and Saint John. Following the war she worked in London, England and Toronto, prior to rejoining the WRCNS as part of the RCN. She then served in Shearwater, Halifax, Ottawa, and Portsmouth, England. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Cdr. Latham "Yogi" Jenson; sister, June; step grandsons, Ben and Sam; and stepson, Tom. She is survived by daughter, Sarah; granddaughter, Kate; stepson, Lynn (Helen), step-daughter-in-law, Anna-Lee; step grandchildren, Jessie-Lee, Luke, Molly (Dylan), Isabelle, Isaac and Declan. Many thanks to Debbie Malaidack and Belinda Marriott for enabling her to stay at home as long as she did. Thanks as well to the staff and veterans at Camp Hill 5W who were so kind and helpful during her stay. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.
