GALLANT, Donald Francis - 67, Halifax, passed away in the QEII Health Sciences Centre, September 7, 1999. Born in Summerside, P.E.I., he was the son of the late Frank Joseph and Mary (Richard) Gallant, stepmother Celina Gallant. He was retired from the Royal Canadian Navy and an avid marksman and hunter. He recently worked for Casino Taxi. There are no words to express how deeply he will be missed by his wife and children. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Gregory; daughters, Gayle (Mrs. Patrick Gallant), Kitchener, Ont.; Gina Gallant, Halifax; son, Gary, Halifax; sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Tom Perry), Summerside; grandsons, Martin, Jarod, Derek. He was predeceased by sisters, Eileen, Eleanor (Summerside). Visitation today 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in Cruikshank's Funeral Home, Robie Street. Funeral service Thursday, September 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, Normandy Dr. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
