In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
ENGER, Lawrence L. - After a life well lived, Larry`s journey ended at 95 years young on March 16th, 2021. Born to Einar and Lillian Enger, in Kelvington, Sask. in 1925. As a young man he joined the RCN for a 10 year bout as an Officer, went on to become a General Contractor, Commercial Fisherman, and an Aviator. He is predeceased by his loving wife Barbara of 58 years, who passed away in 2018, his son Jim, and his brothers Duffy and Martin. He is survived by his son Tim (Sheila), stepdaughters Sandra and Kathy, God-daughter Beverly and dear friend Estee (Corey). He enjoyed his life.... He and his wife enjoyed travelling the world and loved it all. He shared his love of music with all as he was awesome fiddle player and enjoyed jamming with so many of his musician friends over the years. He took up wood carving as a hobby in his later years. As for his wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered with his wife and son in Strait of Juan de Fuca. (Victoria Times Colonist 19 Mar 2021)
