PACE, James Herbert - A well-known resident of Halifax, James Herbert Pace, 75 Charles Street, died in Camp Hill Hospital Monday morning, following a lengthy illness. He was 62 years of age. Except for ten years spent in the navy during and after World War 1, he had lived here all his life. He is survived by one daughter, Doris (Mrs. A. L. Hickson), Saskatoon; two sons, Donald, Ottawa, and Earl, Halifax; three sisters, Mary, U.S.A.; Bess and Sadie of Halifax; two brothers, John, Florida, and Dawson, Halifax. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Cruikshanks Funeral Home, Robie Street. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. (Halifax Mail Star Tuesday 11 Jul 1950)
