In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
LOGAN, William F.J. - 70, of North tuxedo Drive, died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Centre. Mr. Logan retired from Deans' Milk after 30 years of service and was employed by the University of Notre Dame for 21 years in stadium personnel. He was born 28 Feb 1924, in Toronto, and lived in South Bend most of his life. On Nov. 30, 1944, in St. John's, Newfoundland, he married Leila Bishop. She survives with two sons, David of Mishawaka and William of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren; a sister, June Adjey of Canada; and two brothers, Robert and Bruce, both of Canada. He was a member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, Mason Lodge 45, Orak Shrine Temple and Elks Lodge 235. Memorial Services will be at a later date. Cremation will take place. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, Valley of Promise or Crippled Children's Fund in care of South Bend Shrine Club.
