GILLESPIE, John Aiken - The death of John Aiken Gillespie occurred suddenly at Ste. Anne de Bellevue Veterans Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2002. Mr. Gillespie was born in Moncton, NB on 6 May 1921 and was the son of the late Ernest Gordon Gillespie and Elizabeth (McLoughlin) Gillespie. He attended school in Moncton and was employed by Canadian National Railways until he enlisted in the Canadian Navy. After his discharge from the Navy, he was employed by TransCanada Pipelines in Regina, Sask. Since his retirement, he has resided in Montreal, PQ. He is survived by his sister, Patricia of Moncton, and brothers, Neil of Moncton and Eugene of Victoria, BC. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth and a sister, June.
