McPHEE, Joseph (Joe) - passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, January 9th, 2015. Born in Saint John on January 28, 1955, he was a son of the late James and Dorothy (Taylor) McPhee. Joe served in the Royal Canadian Navy, and following his retirement from the Navy, worked for the Commissionaires. He is survived by his special friend, Pam Gamblin, her sons Paul and Wesley, daughter Ronnie, grandchildren Sarah Muir, Jessica Gamblin, Ryan Gamblin, Keith Wright, Tyler Gamblin, Kyle Gamblin and Kevin Gamblin, and her sister Robyn Raynes. Joe is also survived by uncles Alick (Ann) Taylor, John McPhee (Jane Clelland), Larry (Pat) McPhee, Wally (Shirley) McPhee, an aunt, Jean (Sylvio) Gagnon, as well as numerous cousins. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 14th at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at a later date. The Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Tribute to a Veteran Service on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue League, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. (The Telegraph-Journal 10 Feb 2021)
