In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
DALEY, Wynne St. Clair - 90, of Northwood Manor, formerly of 5531 Hennessey Place, Halifax, died Friday at Camp Hill Hospital. Born in Clark's Harbour, Cape Sable Island, he was the son of the late John W. and Alemtcha (Kenney) Daley. He was a wireless operator with the RNCVR during the First World War and was a reserve staff non-commissioned officer during the Second World War. He was employed with Nova Scotia Light and Power, retiring in 1960. He is survived by two daughters, Geraldine (Mrs. Alfred George), Dartmouth; and Goldie (Mrs. Fitzgerald Fry), Halifax; three sons, Wynne Jr., Glen Haven; and William and Douglas, both of Halifax; two sisters, Augusta Hoadley, Halifax; and Mrs. Alice Kenney, South West Harbour, ME; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Winne (Shatford); two daughters, Thelma and Bernice; four brothers, George, Jason, Ernest and John; and three sisters, Hilda, Millie and Belle Anita. The body is in Atlantic Funeral Home, Bayers Road, where funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. C. Pretty officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hills Estates.
