HEBEL, Glen G. - At Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 2, 2017, Mr. Glen Goldie Hebel of Listowel, in his 94th year.
Husband of the late Ruth (Lindner) Hebel. Father of Susan Hebel and Hal South of R.R. 3, Palmerston, and grandfather of Morgan South.
Glen served in the Royal Canadian Navy on the HMCS FRONTENAC, a corvette that made many trips across the North Atlantic. By the age of 19, he achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
After World War 2, Glen returned to Bridgeport to build a life and successful sheet metal business.
The family funeral service will be held on Friday, August 4th with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Dog Guides Canada would be appreciated.
