MacINNIS, Lowell - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at his residence on Monday August 30, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of the late Joan MacInnis (2008). Loving father of Robert (Jan) MacInnis, Sherry (Sandy) Alexander, Kerry (Laura) MacInnis, Robin MacInnis, Scott MacInnis (Tracey) and Jim (Joanne) MacInnis. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Lesley, Sean, Jay, Kailee, Alexa, Michael, Melissa, Alexandra, Matthew, Nathan, Owen, Julia and Michael and great-grandfather of ten. Dear brother of Rita and Phillip (Doreen). Predeceased by his brothers Gordon and Larry and his sisters Evelyn and Eleanor. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lowell was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19, including the requirement for face coverings and maximum occupancy levels, friends are invited to join the family at the Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. A special thank you to the palliative care team, nephrology team, and the LHIN team for their extraordinary care.
