In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
RUSSELL, William (Bill) - passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Fran; children, Lisa and Jim; grandchildren, Lorelai and Emersen as well as his four-legged kids, Marley and Avro. Bill proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 27 years. After retirement, he continued to work at CFB Shilo as a civilian. Switching gears entirely, he found a new way to serve, as a TV installer at the Brandon Hospital for the next 20 years. He cared deeply for the patients that he met and enjoyed visiting with them on his rounds, until his retirement on December 25, 2020. Bill’s family will cherish his memory privately.
