Merchant Marine / Royal Navy

 

Died: 29 Sep 1945, age 45

 

Hamish served in the Merchant Marine during the First World War as a Midshipman and survived his ship being torpedoed.  He volunteered to served in the Second World War and again survived the sinking of the ship he was serving in when HMS RAJPUTANA was torpedoed and sunk near Iceland.
