In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
JOYCE, Kenneth J.F. - Crossed the bar October, 2021 Born December, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Beatrice Anderson and Maurice Joyce of Brandon, Manitoba. Ken joined the Canadian Navy as an Ordinary Seaman, served in Korea on HMCS ATHABASKAN, rose through the ranks and was commissioned as an officer then going onto command ships. He retired after thirty years of service. A dedicated sailor he owned and sailed boats throughout his life in Victoria, BC. In retirement he could be found most days on his sailboat at Oak Bay Marina. He was a proud Canadian. Remembered by his loving wife of 67 years Margaret, daughters & sons in-law Maureen & Andre, Patti & Alan, granddaughters Chloe & Angie, sister Valerie (Gordon), in-laws John (Betty), Mimi, nieces and nephew. Predeceased by son Matthew. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors serving Chilcotin Way at Williams Lake Seniors Village for their kind and thoughtful care.
