LIDDIARD John Wilson (Jack) - 77 years, of Petrolia, died at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Wednesday, February 6, 2002. Born in Toronto, the son of the late John and Gertrude Liddiard, Mr. Liddiard had worked for 27 years with Bell Canada. Mr. Liddiard is survived by his wife, Helen (née Harris), his children Albert and Barb of North Bay, Grant of Ottawa, Louise and Jim McKeegan of Windsor, Lorne and Tammy of Marthaville, Laura and Ron Meredith of Petrolia and David and Debbie of Sarnia, sisters, Joyce McRae and Bob of Washago Beach and Darlene and Gaetan Morin of Vancouver, a brother, Raymond and Barb of Grimsby and his grandchildren, Neal, Jay and Graham Liddiard, Sean and Kelly McKeegan, Nash and Brent Liddiard and Alex and Brad Meredith. Mr. Liddiard was predeceased by a brother, Phil and his wife Dorie Liddiard of St. Catharine's. The funeral service for the late Mr. Liddiard was held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, on Friday, February 8, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Laurel Pattenden, Chaplain at Lambton Meadowview Villa officiated. The pallbearers were: Neil, Jay, Graham and Paul Liddiard, and Sean and Kelly McKeegan. The flower bearers were: Alex and Brad Meredith and Nash and Brent Liddiard. Following cremation, Mr. Liddiard's cremated remains will be interred in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Onatrio or the St. Joseph's Health Car Centre Foundation (London) for the Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit.
