LOUTH, Fred Theodore - It is with great sadness and peace that we announce that Ted, beloved husband of Doreen (nee Price) of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday March 17, 2013 at the age of 77 years.
Ted was born and raised in Turner Valley. He joined the Navy and settled to raise his family in Victoria B.C. until he retired. Upon retirement Ted and Doreen moved back to Alberta where they were able to enjoy having their family close to them.
Ted is survived by his loving wife Doreen; children Dale, Michelle (Len Messmer) and Belinda (Ben); grandchildren April, Sarah (Darryl), Joshua (Deanna), Brittany, Michael and Tara; great-grandchildren Devon, Isabell and Eli. Ted is also survived by sisters; Lois (Don), Bev (Howard), and Judy (Jim); brothers Pete, Orville (Diane) and Ron (Marilyn). He is also survived by many close in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Ted was predeceased by his mother Alice; father Fred; and brother Butch. Ted will be happy to be reunited with them.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway's Airdrie Funeral Home (300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, Alberta) on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00p.m. The family would like to thank Patty and all the wonderful staff at the Santuari Hospice. If friends so desire memorial tributes in Ted’s name may be made to The Santuari Hospice Unit 42 – Peter Lougheed Centre 3500 – 26 Ave NE Calgary T1Y 6J4.
