LEYLAND, Ernest Albert, Stoker 1c, V46538, RCNVR, died - 25 Aug 1944 - HMCS OWEN SOUND - Son of Mr. Albert Leyland and Mrs. Mary Leyland of Vancouver, BC. Brother of Fred Leyland, Canadian Army (Overseas) and Roy Leyland, RCAF (Seal Island, BC).
Stoker 1c Ernest Leyland died in the City and County Hospital, Londonderry, Northern Ireland on 25 Aug 1944 of peritonitis.
Ernest's brother Frederick Leyland passed away in Vancouver, BC on 03 Jan 1979 and is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver.
