In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
BLACK, Karen Marie - Age 72 of Eastern Passage, passed away at home on November 30, 2021. Born in Birch Hills, Sask., she was the daughter of Earl and Florida (Booth) Tyerman. Karen was a logistical supply tech with the Royal Canadian Navy and achieved the rank of Petty Officer First Class before retiring and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Somme Branch No. 31. She was a member of Hartlen Point Golf Club and was also an avid gardener. Her greatest passion in life was the love of her dogs. For those who knew her best she was a kind and gentle soul always willing to help those who needed it. Karen was predeceased by her parents. A graveside service will be held in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Prayer on Tuesday, December 7th at 2 p.m. For those who wish to attend proof of double vaccination and ID is required by provincial regulations.
