They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
CHENOUSKI, Frank, Lt, RCNR, died - 21 Sep 1944, HMCS GEORGIAN - Son of Joseph and Esther Chenouski, Montreal, QC.
He died at the Royal Naval Hospital, Plymouth, England from edema of the lungs, kidney disease and kidney failure as a result of carbon tetrachloride poisoning. Lt Chenouski had been in the wardroom cleaning his uniform with a pyrene solution. He is buried in the Weston Mill Cemetery, Plymouth, Devon, UK.
