PAGEOT, Joseph Henri, Stwd, V/3754, RCNVR, died - 25 Nov 1943, HMCS AMHERST - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Aurelien Pageot, Québec City, QC.
Steward J. H. Pageot drowned in Pictou Harbour when he was thrown into the water when a ferry struck the small whaler that Pageot was in. The heavy wash from the propeller caused the whaler to rock violently. Steward Pageot was unable to swim and drowned despite efforts to save him.
