ANSLEY, William Charles, OS, V16254, RCNVR, died - 05 Jan 1942, HMCS BITTERSWEET - Son of Arthur and Elizabeth Ansley, of Thessalon, ON.
OS William Ansley died as a result of extensive burns, caused by scalding water, received when he was involved in a serious accident at the US Naval Yards Charleston, North Carolina. He is buried in the Magnolia Cemetery, Charleston, South Carolina, USA.
