In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SINCLAIR, Duncan Thompson - Passed away suddenly on Thursday, February the 10th. He will be missed by his daughters Catherine, Edna, Tory and Stacey; grandchildren Natasha, Ashley, Alyssa, Juston, Jesyka, Tawna, Corrie, Dakota and Jazzmin; and his 15 great-grandchildren. Duncan was predeceased by his first wife Rosella Jayne Sinclair (Flowers), his daughter Sherri and his parents Edna and Dougal. Duncan served in both the Canadian and American Navy, aboard the submarines. He was a devout Anglican, a proud bagpiper, avid gardener and reader. He took a lot of pride in watching Canadian sports and supported all the local teams. Friends are invited to support his family on Saturday, February 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the Alan R Barker Funeral Home in Carleton Place. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. The family would like to thank all the support and care he received from the home support team from Southeast Bayshore. This support allowed him to stay in his home that he loved.
