MacDOUGALL, Elton West Sto 1c, V12820, RCNVR, killed - 14 Jun 1943, HMCS KOOTENAY - Son of William W. and Helene MacDougall, of Burtonsville, AB.
Stoker MacDougall died when he was struck in the head by the capstan bar while taking part in a refueling on HMCS KOOTENAY. The capstan had slipped into reverse. He was buried at sea.
