In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
DOCKRILL, Cyril Bernard Joseph (Cy) - 44, Lakeside, Halifax co, died August 29, 2000 in the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Cyril and Mary (Keigan) Dockrill. Cy joined the Canadian armed Forces in 1975, and retired in 1999, after 23 years of service on board submarines, destroyers and several postings ashore. He spent a year working in the building supplies industry and was employed in sales at CHNS/CHFX Radio at the time of his death. Cy volunteered with minor hockey and Scouts and was always ready with his hammer and saw in aid of Scout camp, children's youth group or various friends. His greatest joy came from his children. He is survived by his wife, Gwenyth (Smith), daughters, Haley, Shannon, son Nathan all at home; brothers, Edward Lakeside Michael (Helen), Lakeside; Robert (Cindy) Timberlea, Andrew Trenton, Stephen (Denise) Halifax.
