In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
ELFORD, Ruth Margaret - beloved wife of Clyde Elford passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the age of 91 years. Ruth was a Past Matron of The Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Al Azhar Daughters of the Nile. She was a member of the WRENS during WWII and was awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. Ruth is survived by her loving husband Clyde of 67 years, and son Robert (Gillian); and sisters Marion Smith-Evans and Eleanor Espeseth; and brother Donald Wakelam. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, no funeral service will be held.
