In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
POZZO, Evelyn Marguerite (Marg) (née PAPP) - of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Marg was born on May 23, 1925 in Wayne, AB to Evelyn and John Papp. She had three siblings: John, Yvonne and Pat. After high school, she went to Ottawa to join the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service (WRENS) as a secretary, where she spent the majority of her service as captain of the baseball team. She married her high school sweetheart and they moved to Calgary in 1949, where they spent the rest of their lives. She was a supportive mother and grandmother to her family. Marg will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jack (Robin), Gary and Dale (Trish); and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Jodi (Jackie) Kellogg, Josh (Connie), Jenn (Trevor) Murray, Kevin, Mike, Kent, Erin (Sean) Fynn), Will (Stephanie), Jesse; and her sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Angelo "Squint"; daughter Pam (Sherry); and daughter-in-law Maralee. A Private Family Service will be held.
