In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HARVEY, Kevin James - With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin James Harvey. Kevin was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was predeceased by his mother, Teresa Harvey, and brother-in-law Bob Smith. He leaves behind his daughter, Chelsea Phillips (Matthew; Emeri, Jema and Mason), father Frank Harvey, sister Lynn Smith (Mikayla, Cheyenne), brother Mike Harvey (Rose; Lindsay, Sean), sister Karen Leeking (Jon; Daniel, Ben, Aaron), and sister Susanne Sherwood (John; Madeline, Sydney, Dylan). Kevin toured the world with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1977 to 1980, worked in Jamaica and Blythe & Quartzsite, AZ, eventually settling back in Tsawwassen to work as an independent general contractor. We will deeply miss his warm, easy-going nature and wicked sense of humour. Give Mom a kiss, put on some Pink Floyd and enjoy your days forever fishing. (The Delta Optimist 14 Apr 2022)
