LaBELLE, Maurice Joseph - WWII Veteran - Royal Canadian Navy - Passed away peacefully at the Ravines Retirement Residence on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the age of 99. Maurice was the beloved husband of Maureen, who was the love of his life. Proud and loving father of Lynda (Allen Galachiuk), Diane Colquitt and David (Janet). Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Scott (Christine), Lindsay (Ryan), Jason (Mai) and great-grandfather of Morgan, Forrest, Eric, Tess and Jaxlen. Maurice was a Treasury Officer at National Defence and retired as a Senior Financial Officer with the Government of Canada. Sincere thanks to the dedicated staff at the Ravines Retirement Residence for their compassionate care that they gave Maurice. A private family, Catholic Funeral Mass was held at St. Maurice Parish followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery. In Memoriam, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
