MATTISON, Albert Charles, Bos'n, Albert Medal, RCN, killed - 06 Dec 1917, HMCS NIOBE - Husband of Annie Alice Jones (formerly Mattison), of Toronto, ON.
Bos'n Mattison was killed at Halifax NS on 06/12/1917 while in command of a small (pinnace) boat's crew attempting to board the SS Mont Blanc when she exploded causing widespread damage and death.
