In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
McKie, Carlie - Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022, at her home at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Mike (2000). Loving mother of Ian (Connie), Kendall (Hugh) Fulford and Anne Lee. Will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Eric, Riley, Mike, Kaitlynn, Drake, Bryce and Bronwyn and great-grandchildren. Carlie was a member of the Women Royal Canadian Navy Service from 1954 to 1960, and a long-time member and volunteer with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50. One of her great accomplishments in life was raising her three great children. Carlie has a positive outlook on life and never let anything get her down. She was and will continue to be an amazing role model to her family. As per Carlie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Carlie and Mike are once again gracing the dance floor in Heaven, as they did here on Earth. (The Waterloo Region Record 25 Apr 2022)
