In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
CURLEY, Richard John (Dick) - was born in 1913 in Charlottetown (West) Royalty, PEI, son of Patrick and Isabelle Curley. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve in 1940 and served in the North Atlantic on HMC Ships NIAGARA (1940-41), PRESCOTT (1941-42), and WETASKIWIN (1942-43). He was aboard HMS BELFAST in 1944, participating in the Normandy invasion, and on HMCS UGANDA in the South Pacific in fall of 1944 and 1945. Dick passed away in 1988.
