CORCORAN, Alexander Patrick Joseph (Alex) - Age 94, born January 14, 1928 in Donnacona, Quebec. Alex passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 in Quebec. He was a son of the late Patrick and Eva (Hardy) Corcoran. Alex served with both the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) for 25 years. In 1952, Alex was a member of the Riverside Softball Team in Parrsboro. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed many years at his camp. Alex spent many years studying and writing the family ancestry and history of the Irish settlers of Bourg Louis. He was predeceased by his brothers George, Eddy, Henry and Albert; wife, Jane (Phinney) of Parrsboro. He is survived by three sisters, Blanche (Plamondon); Edna (Turenne) and Hughette (Bedard); eight children, Patricia, Alexis, Shannon, Lynn, Wendy, Randy, Jocelyn and Patrick; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; also, his companion of many years, Yolande Ferland.
