Died: 06 Dec 1917, Halifax, Nova Scotia

BREEN, James Irvin, Sto 1c, VR274, RNCVR, Killed - 06 Dec 1917, HMCS MUSQUASH - Son of William Henry and Mary Jane Breen, of Liscomb, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia.  Brother of Stoker Samuel Gordon Breen, RNCVR, who also lost his life in the Halifax Explosion on 6 December 1917 while serving in HMCS MUSQUASH.

 

Stoker Breen died of injuries received in the Halifax Explosion.  He is buried in the St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Liscomb, Nova Scotia
