They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
PIEROWAY, Edward, Boy Stwd, RNCVR, Killed - 06 Dec 1917, HMCS MUSQUASH. Son of Alfred M. and Josephine Pieroway, of Sandy Point, St. George, Newfoundland. Stwd Pieroway died as a result of injuries received in the Halifax Explosion. He is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland.
