They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
SCHAUFELE, Lawrence Thomas, Capt, C.A.F., died 20 Sep 1973, VS-880 ANTI-SUBMARINE SQUADRON - Born 26 Jul 1945, Calgary, AB, son of Reuben Frederick and Catherine Elizabeth (nee O'Donnell) Schaufele of Metz, Germany. Brother of Ronald, Bonita, Deborah and Frederick. Husband of Marlene Caroline (nee Hack) Schaufele and father of Richard and Carolyn Schaufele of Shearwater, Nova Scotia.
Capt Schaufele died when the Tracker in which he was crew of, crashed near Terrace, BC.
