STEWART, Charles Eric (Rick) - 61, of Mahone Bay and Indian Point, Nova Scotia, passed away October 11, 2000 in the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia after a short, brave battle with cancer. Born in Farnham, Quebec, he was a son of Ruth (Burns) Stewart, Montreal and the late Charles Eric Stewart. He was an honours graduate of the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario. Rick is survived by his wife, Wilma, Mahone Bay, his children Douglas (Mary Elizabeth), Dartmouth; Iain (Alexandra), Halifax; Fiona (Michael) MacAllister, Victoria, B.C.; Alec (Rei), Sioux Lookout, Ontario; his dearly loved grandchildren, Neil, Emma, Robbie, Jack and Matthew; brothers Robert, Hunstville, Ontario and Christopher, Montreal, Quebec. Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday in Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Fishermen's Memorial Hospital or the Mahone Bay Founders Society Settlers Museum through the Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.
