CHRISTIE, Robert William - A resident of Chatham and formerly of London, Robert William Christie died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Friday February 17, 2006 at the age of 68 years. Born in Port Colborne, son of the late William and Beatrice (Randall) Christie. Beloved spouse of Carol Neaves. Father of Patti Ann Shields of Dartmouth N.S., Bruce Christie of Newfoundland, Scot Christie of Toronto, Diane Christie of N.S., Laurie Clark of Sarnia, Susan Cassibo and Jeff (Kim) Baughman of St. Thomas. Grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 3 Brother of Beatrice and Al Smith of Komoka. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy and a retired delivery person for Shoppers Drug Mart. He was a former employee of Westminister Veteran's Hospital in London.
