MacDONALD, Thomas Allan, ERA 4c, 21749, RCN, DOW - 13 Sep 1942, HMCS CHARLOTTETOWN - Son of Leonard and Coral F. MacDonald, of Peterborough.
Engine Room 4th Class T. A. Macdonald died at sea of his wounds on September 13, 1942 which he sustained in enemy action when HMCS Charlottetown was sunk on September 11, 1942. ERA MacDonald was buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Gaspe, Quebec. At the request of his mother, he was later exhumed and reburied in the Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, ON.
