EISNER, Eric Ewald, Steward, 40756, RCN, MPK - 22 Feb 1943, HMCS WEYBURN - Son of Gustav B. and Anna Eisner, of Mirror, Alberta.
Steward Eisner survived the sinking of HMCS WEYBURN and was picked up by HMS BLACK SWAN along with the other survivors - and was witnessed on board by other WEYBURN crew. When HMS BLACK SWAN arrived at Gibraltar and landed the survivors, Steward Eisner could not be found either on board or ashore and was listed as missing. After having found no further trace of Steward Eisneer, he was considered MPK on 22 Feb 1943.
