MILLER, A. Murray Nesbitt - Born in Brighton Ontario July 15 1923, died peacefully in his sleep at his residence, November 17 2018, at the age of 95. Predeceased by his parents Albert S. Miller and Eunice M. Miller (Nesbitt), daughter Sylvia and wife Marion (Davis). Survived by children David (Lise) and Janice (Lori Morris), grandchildren Daryl Miller (Kim Robertson), Kristin Miller (Michael Kowalchuk) and Kyle Morris, and great-grandchildren Hailey and Kayla Miller, and Rachel and Megan Kowalchuk. He will also be missed by his good friend Rose Blickstead. Dad served in the Navy during WWII, and then had a long career with the Department of Agriculture in Ottawa. Dad was a cub master "Akela" and scout leader for almost 60 years, and in later years was an avid snooker player. Friends are invited to pay respects on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Julian of Norwich Anglican Church, 7 Rossland Ave, Nepean after 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at 2 p.m. Interment at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brighton, ON. Special thanks to the staff of the Ravines Retirement home. Memorial donations to Scouts Canada or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
