CORNWELL, John Gregory - Veteran of the Second World War. It is with deep sorrow that our family mourns John's passing, on Saturday, 18th September 2010 at the Ajax & Pickering Hospital in his 92nd year. Dearly beloved husband of Margaret-Mildred, proud father of Debbie (Steve), James (Lynn), loving brother of Anne (James), uncle to Kent and the late James and adored step-father to Janet, Judi (Tom), Jennifer (Garth). Grandchildren Kimberly (Jonathan), James (Dana), Nathan, Coleman, Todd (Michelle), Jason, Tara (Marshall) and Grant. Great- grandchildren Paige, Ryley, Patrick and Rachel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 24th September 2010 at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre. 1057 Brock Road (just south of the 401), Pickering, Ontario, 905-686-5589. Visitation is from 10 - 11 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel. A reception will be held at the Simple Alternative after the service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or your charity of choice would be greatly appreciated. (The Toronto Star 22 Sep 2010)
