They made the Ultimate Sacrifice
MANSON, Donald Stuart, OS, 6060-H, RCN, MPK - 16 Jul 1947, HMCS MICMAC - Son of Ethel Manson, of Montreal, Quebec.
Ordinary Seaman Donald Stuart Manson transferred from the RCNVR to RCN on March 19, 1945. He was killed when HMCS MICMAC was in a collision with a merchant ship (S.S. Yarmouth County) near Sambro Light Vessel, Halifax, Nova Scotia. His body was not recovered.
