In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
Sanford, a son of Rupert A. and Rebecca Hare, died in his home in Kentville, NS from a heart attack. He was survived by his wife Mae (née MacLennan) Hare. He was buried in the Lakeside Cemetery, North Sydney, NS.
Sanford's brother, Telegraphist Alphonse Leroy Hare died during the Second World War when his ship, HMCS WINDFLOWER, was accidentally rammed by a merchant ship and sunk.
