FERRON, Kenneth Marshall, Sto 1c, V64132, RCNVR, MPK - 08 Aug 1944, HMCS REGINA - Son of David G. and Jessie A. Ferron, of Toronto, Ontario.

 

Sto 1c Ferron died when HMCS REGINA was torpedoed and sunk off Trevose Head, Cornwall, England by U-667 while she was aiding a merchant vessel in distress. Thirty of her crew were lost.

 

Stoker Kenneth Marshall Ferron, age 21 has been reported missing as a result of enemy action. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. David G. and Jessie A. Ferron, Woodbine Avenue of Toronto. He went overseas in 1943. Two brothers are on active service, Sgt. Bob Ferron with the paratroops and L.A. C. David Jr. with the R.C.A.F. (Transcription from a newspaper article)
