DUNCAN, Rosemary Audrey (née BLAIKLOCK) - passed away peacefully in Peterborough, Ontario. Born in Montreal to James and Rosamond Blaiklock (Huycke). Survived by brothers James and Ian. Predeceased by husband Kenneth. Loved mother of Edward (Kathy) of Toronto, Alec (Christine) of Mississauga, Tom (Shiela) of Calgary and Roger (Sylvie) of Toronto. Loved grandmother of: Lindsay, Amy, and Kaylee; Emily and Elizabeth; Curtis and Russell; Philip and Eric. Rosemary grew up in Toronto and Peterborough, Ontario and after many years in London and Guelph retired with Ken to their cottage on Stony Lake. After Ken's death in 2003 Rosemary returned to Peterborough. Rosie joined the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and was very proud of her time as a WREN. She was an accomplished bridge player, keen gardener and an enthusiastic traveller. A gathering to celebrate Rosemary's life will be held at Royal Gardens, 1160 Clonsilla Ave., Peterborough, ON on Saturday, October 20 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
