In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
AHERN, Maurice Francis (Moe) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice at Ste. Anne's Military Hospital on December 8, 2015 in his 94th year. He was a proud Navy Veteran of World War II (HMCS Sarnia) and a Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 68, St. Lambert. He was predeceased by his son Michael (Linda) and leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 62 years Shirley North, and his cherished daughters Peggy (Nick) and Kelly. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Brad (Carla), Greg (Holly), Leia, Shea and Faith and great-granddaughters Faye and Zoe. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will follow at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Ste. Anne's Military Hospital Foundation will be greatly appreciated. (The Gazette 12 Dec 2015)
