HOGAN, Gerald James - of 6249 Shirley Street, Halifax, died Saturday at home. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Frank and Charlotte (Miller) Hogan. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving with the Royal Canadian Navy overseas from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of the Commissioners from 1967 to 1970. He is survived by his wife, the former Ada Mabel Dalton and one daughter, Mary Ann. Two brothers, Frank and Richard, predeceased him. The body is at the Halifax Funeral Home, Quinpool Road. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Halifax. (The Halifax Chronicle-Herald, Monday, 06 Mar 1972)
